Local Chapters

Anyone can start a local chapter. To start a Local Chapter in your area, please register using the online form. Iduka will appoint the National Council officers on a per case basis and as soon as we register enough Local Chapters in each and every country interested in our programs.

Our Local Chapters are ranked according to the following ranking system that have a few pre-requisites. To register a Local Chapter click here.

Bronze Level – 5 members

Membership requirements:

• 1 president
• 3 vice-presidents
• 1 secretary

Roles:

• President – oversees chapter activities, chairs meetings, represents chapter at the National Council, liaison between Chapter and National Council.
• VP responsible for local Cycle For Education initiatives;
• VP responsible to oversee the screening of student portfolios.
• VP responsible for special fundraising events;
• Secretary responsible for all meetings’ agendas and for taking minutes of all Chapter meetings.

Responsibilities of all Chapter members:

In addition to the specific responsibilities associated with their respective office, each member must be willing to:

• “create” a LinkedIn profile
• “like” our Facebook fan page
• “follow” us on Twitter
• “subscribe” our Blog
• “sign” and promote our Open Letter to African Leaders
• “sign” and “promote” all of our current online petitions.

Platinum Level – 50 members

Sapphire Level – 100 members

Emerald Level – 250 members
