Background information on Phase 2
Our focus during this phase is to raise the necessary funds to invest in our various scholarship initiatives, ranging from promoting careers in education to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics); girl’s education to education of ethnic minorities and refugees.
To more effectively accomplish this task, the Executive Committee responsible for coordinating and implementing this pilot project has created six committees, including the Student and Community Outreach Committee which is responsible for the Iduka Student Volunteer Internship Program (iSVIP) that helped us get started during phase 1.

I am very excited about this great work that is so needed in Burundi. May you and all the adults in Africa stand up to add their energy for a long term impact.
Thank you for inviting more youth in Africa!
Together will make it happen! And we’re all concerned.
Regards,
Jean-Claude
